Yoga in The Gardens

Start your Wednesday mornings with a fresh breath of air during a one hour yoga class that awakens your senses amidst the natural beauty of Hudson Gardens. Each class is designed to help you increase vitality and improve mental focus for optimal wellness. All levels of experience are invited to attend. Instructors are Registered Yoga Teachers and offer their own individual style with your well-being in mind. Classes are held outdoors at Monet's Place, weather permitting. Drop-ins welcome.

Tai Chi in The Gardens
Alternating Thursdays beginning June 15, 9 AM – 10 AM
Bring balance to your life while relieving stress and increasing energy through a focused practice of Tai Chi. Local Tai Chi center, Human Harmonies, brings their mantra of relax, restore, and rejuvenate to Hudson Gardens this summer in sessions geared toward beginners. Each session will introduce you to the combination of movement, meditation, and breathing that make up this unique practice. No experience is necessary. Classes are held outdoors. Drop-ins welcome. Please check in at the Welcome Center before class.

August Rose Garden Tour
Saturday, August 26, 2017, 9 AM - 10:30 AM
Immerse yourself in the color, fragrance, and beauty of Hudson Gardens’ Rose Garden during its peak time of bloom. Rosarians from the Denver Rose Society will introduce you to the characteristics of the different varieties represented in the garden and provide suggestions for growing and caring for your own roses. There will be ample opportunities for questions and smelling the roses on this tour.
This tour will meet at the Welcome Center. Tour will cover approximately 3/4 of a mile.

Whether you are an aspiring beekeeper or want to deepen your knowledge as a practicing beekeeper, there's a class for you! Beekeeping classes are offered year-round with the popular beginner beekeeping series beginning in October of each year.
Birding in The Gardens: Bird Walks
Last Saturday, Monthly, January and March through November, 8 AM – 11 AM
Walk with us on the wild side! Each month we team with an Audubon Master Birder from the Front Range Birding Company to discover the rich bird habitats of Hudson Gardens. You’ll come away amazed with the local wildlife and learn useful birding techniques, identification tips, and much more! Whether you are new to birding or an experienced birder, there is always something exciting to see through your binoculars!
Early registration is strongly encouraged as participation is limited. This walk will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Participants will meet in front of the Welcome Center by 8 am. Bring snacks, water, and a pair of binoculars with you.
Community Drum Circle
Typically the second Tuesday of each month, 6:15 PM - 7:45 PM
$4/adult, $1/child (ages 5-12 years old)
Share your rhythmical spirit in an oasis of beauty! Community drum circles are popping up throughout the nation as a fun way to celebrate community and life through recreational music making. No drumming expertise is necessary and all ages and abilities are welcome to attend this family-friendly event. This guided session will include basic and traditional rhythms, guided imagery, and freestyle.
Sessions may be held outdoors during the summer; please dress for the weather. Regular drummers are strongly encouraged to bring their own percussion. Loaned equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Class Registration and Cancellation Policy
All programs and classes require advance registration unless otherwise noted. To register for a program online, click the ‘Register Now’ button on the class description, or call the Education Department at (303) 797-8565 ext. 306.
Unless a cancellation policy is specified in a class or program description, the following cancellation policy applies to all Adult Programs. For cancellations received more than two business days prior to the program date, a full refund, minus a 20% cancellation fee, will be issued. Refunds and exchanges will not be issued for missed programs or cancellations made two or fewer business days prior to the program date or for programs with registration fees of $5 or less.
